Ⅳ型コラーゲンおよびV型コラーゲンの超会合体を用い、血管平滑筋の形質変化を検討した。その結果、血管平滑筋が収縮型形質を維持する可能性があることを報告した。本人はⅣ型コラーゲン超会合体形成に関与した。
