The purpose of this research is to clarify the current status of injuries and other low back disorders in ju-no-kata certified athletes. Furthermore, we aimed to add knowledge that contributes to prevention of low back pain in ju-no-kata. Ju-no-kata is sometimes a substitute for prepared gymnastics, giving us a soft impression. But athletes and coaches need to be fully aware of the dangers inherent in ju-no-kata. Competitors and coaches need to be fully aware that ju-no-kata athletes are at high risk for injuries and disorders of the low back.
